Grab & Go STEM Kits are almost here!

~ August 2020 theme is NATURE’S BUILDERS ~ Birds are nature’s engineers as they skillfully craft their homes with items found in nature to protect and house their young. Give it a try with a bird nest building challenge and other activities.

We are really excited to be partnering with the Dover Public Library and Smyrna Public Library to give local youth access to STEM Kits.

We are happy to provide some engaging activity for you and the family to enjoy. Have a great time together and be safe!

We had an awesome time during our first year in operation. Here is a snapshot of the year. We are looking forward to growth and more fun in 2020!

Now through the end of the year...Join us at the Smyrna and Dover Public Libraries on the 4th Saturday of every month. Engineer Early will have hands-on activities for elementary age youth and younger. Be on the lookout for some engaging fun with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math as we learn through play.

In-Person Pop-Up STEM will resume at a future time!!!

Introducing... the Pop-Up STEM Center! We are busy creating new exhibits that are portable and able to be set-up in the community to bring a STEM experience to preschool children. Children and caregivers actively engage in STEM activities to learn and have fun at the same time. Check our Exhibits page for some recent activities we have created!

Fun Flashback!!! Local outreach at Dover Public Library's STEM MakerFest 2019! We created hands on exhibits for pre-school and elementary age students. LEGO Games and Puzzles allowed older kids to sharpen their thinking skills as they worked through solutions. Younger ones explored simple machines and colors in a STEM play yard designed just for them.

Our Vision:

Engineer Early strives to develop and create opportunities for children and families in the central Delaware area to engage in self-directed play and exploration. Engineer Early desires to stimulate an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.

While encouraging the active and integrated participation of children and their caregivers, we aim to create healthy and educational experiences in which children and families will learn and play together.

We are helping to build up and strengthen the community by engaging our youngest members in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Engineer Early is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization.
